Water eject on Android: how to get water out of a Samsung, Pixel, Xiaomi or OnePlus speaker
Short answer
Most Android phones — including Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and OnePlus — don't have a built-in water eject button. Some Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO models include a "Clear speaker" option in settings. For every other Android phone, the simplest fix is a browser-based water eject: open a 165 Hz speaker cleaner in Chrome or Samsung Internet, turn media volume to maximum, hold the speaker facing down and run the cycle.
iPhone owners have the Water Eject shortcut, Apple Watch owners have Water Lock. Android is more fragmented: whether you get a built-in option depends entirely on the manufacturer and the software version.

Menus change between software updates, so if you can't find an option on your model, assume it isn't there and use a browser tool — it works the same way on every phone.
How to eject water from any Android speaker
- Remove the case and wipe the phone dry.
- Turn media volume to maximum. On Android, press a volume key and make sure you're adjusting media volume, not ringtone.
- Disconnect Bluetooth so the sound plays through the phone speaker.
- Open the speaker cleaner in Chrome or Samsung Internet, choose Water Ejector, and tap Start.
- Hold the phone speaker-down over a cloth for the 45-second cycle. Watch for droplets on the cloth.
- Test and repeat. Play some audio. Still muffled? Run it once or twice more with a few minutes' break in between.

Stereo phones have two speakers
Many Android phones use the earpiece as a second speaker for stereo sound. If one side sounds weaker than the other after getting wet, water is probably in the earpiece grille at the top. Run the call speaker cleaner for that one, then use the left/right speaker test to confirm both sides match.
What about vibration?
